Iranian Canadians, including those in Toronto, have been holding many rallies to protest against Iranian state’s draconian policy on hijabs and demanding women’s rights and political freedom since the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amni. She died in police custody following her arrest by the morality police for allegedly violating the Iranian hijab laws.
