Hate crime investigators with the York Regional Police #1 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking information and witnesses after hateful, anti-Semitic graffiti was found on a highway overpass in the Township of King.
On Thursday, September 7, 2017, at approximately 7 a.m. York Regional Police responded to several calls reporting hateful graffiti spray painted in orange paint on the Aurora Road overpass, visible to traffic going south on Highway 400.
Investigators are asking any witnesses, anyone with information or anyone with dashcam footage in that area to please come forward.
York Regional Police will not tolerate hate crime in any form. These kinds of crimes not only hurt the community that has been targeted, but they hurt us all.
