York Region invites residents to Plan, Prepare and Be Aware on Friday, May 12
The Regional Municipality of York will host a free Emergency Preparedness Fair. In recognition of National Emergency Preparedness Week which runs from May 7 to 13, the fair will feature fun interactive exhibits and vehicles from York Regional Police, York Region Paramedic Services, local fire services, the Canadian Red Cross and St. John Ambulance. There will also be tours and prizes.
By attending this free event, you will learn how to prepare yourself and your family for an emergency or disaster in York Region.
