Fresh Wednesdays and Tasty Thursdays return to Nathan Phillips Square for July and August
This summer, Nathan Phillips Square will again be home to Fresh Wednesdays and Tasty Thursdays, produced by the City of Toronto.
Fresh Wednesdays will take place every Wednesday from July 6 to August 24, featuring a farmers market with vendors selling fresh, Ontario-grown produce, meats, baked goods, artisan cheeses, honey, preserves, flowers and more. Local food vendors will also be onsite from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. serving up tasty meals for patrons to enjoy while they shop. These shows, featuring some of Toronto's best musicians across multiple genres, start at 12:30 p.m. A performance schedule and vendor list are available at http://www.toronto.ca/special_events/thursdays.
As part of these summer programs, on Wednesday, July 20 and Thursday, July 21, Rogers and Tennis Canada will get Torontonians closer to the tennis action with an engaging activation in celebration of Rogers Cup. Additional details will be announced in the coming weeks.
