St. Lawrence Market's Father's Day Weekend BBQ event on the patio Saturday
Toronto's St. Lawrence Market will host its first ever patio pop-up to celebrate Father's Day and the start of summer barbecue season. The event on Saturday, June 18 will run from 10:30 a.m. to about 2:30 p.m., with food samplings at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. in the southeast patio area of the St. Lawrence Market South building at 95 Front St. E.
Fathers, families and the general public are invited to join St. Lawrence Market merchants on the patio for barbecue cooking demonstrations and samples. A selection from Toronto's finest butchers, fishmongers and food merchants will highlight why the St. Lawrence Market is the ultimate destination for fresh summer-grilling food options.
Sample dishes include grilled corn and potato salad, smoked beef brisket, bacon-wrapped scallops and mild Italian sausages.
